This senior photo session holds a special place in my heart. Meghan is a spunky high school graduate who loves her family and school. Her life started out normal, a sweet little preschooler ready to take on the world with her smile and ringlet curls. Then, something happened that would change her life forever. Meghan was diagnosed with Rasmussen Encephalitis. This rare brain disease would cause doctors to tell Meghan's parents that she wouldn't make it to her 6th birthday. However, being the fighter and brave spirit she is, after 6 brain surgeries and many other ongoing medical challenges, Meghan has graduated high school! Defying all odds - she truly is - a Miracle Girl.
